Why Use An Espresso Cup And Not Just Any Styrofoam Cup?

Espresso cups are among the least of coffee drinkers priorities when enjoying their favorite brew. Many however believe that more than the coffee, the espresso cups, including their made, shapes and sizes are also quite important. These cups are being considered as a form of artwork by many coffee lovers.

Espresso is not an espresso if one id not drinking it from an espresso cup. As many, a Styrofoam cup is not the way to drink a cup of espresso. What exactly is an espresso cup? Such cup is a type used in serving and drinking espresso and looks in many ways like a miniature of the large coffee cups people normally use. This can hold about two ounces of coffee and resembles shot glasses as they are smaller than the normal sizes. Despite their typical smaller size, no standard size is known for these cups.

There are those that need to be pre heated or given hot water bath before use so as to ensure that the coffee is warm longer. Using this type of cups also makes drinking more enjoyable and at the same time adds a feeling of attractiveness and style to the drinker.

There are a variety of espresso cups being offered in the market these days. This is believed to be brought about by increased popularity of espresso drinking. The first type which is the stainless steel cup is slowly becoming the most popular with all the features it offers. This type is created with a double wall construction which allows the coffee to stay warm longer. Another popular type is the glass espresso cup which is also incorporated with a double wall and is often hand blown and feature a chrome handle and lip. Finally are the porcelain cups which are the traditional type. Compared to the other two, this type is thicker which keeps espresso warm for a much longer time.

With the number of different types of espresso cups to choose from, choosing the best one is often a tedious task. One of the important factors to consider when purchasing these items is the size of the cup. This can be determined from the type of espresso drink the user enjoys and is capable of making with his/her espresso machine. Upon deciding on the size of cup, it is then important to look for packages that are available in your price range. Also, it is important to ascertain that the handles can be held by the user comfortably in his/her hand. Lastly, it is necessary to look for a design that matches the user's lifestyle and personality.

Stylist and functional espresso cups should go along a hot delicious brew of espresso. These cups are not only essential but can also make serving coffee to visitors and guests more enjoyable.
