The Mongoose Thrive - New wave of BMXing

By Joel Colman

For Mongoose, BMX is second-nature! The company began its operations by providing wheels, of unmatchable quality, for BMX bikes. Today, that commitment to BMX continues as it designs & manufactures some of the world's best machines for this unique biking circuit.

With mongoose's natural talent, they have created the Mongoose Thrive, the best example to their competition and to the riders that: "This is how it's done" in the BMX world.

The Mongoose Thrive is something that needs to be experienced, there just is something different about it that no stat or measurement could explain on paper. This bike, from the Mongoose Bikes manufacturers, is certainly more then the sum of it's parts. This bike follows through with vigour no matter what is thrown at it.

Fully Loaded and Ready to Rock

The creators of the Mongoose continues to amaze the public with their new innovations and technology in bike manufacturing. When Mongoose manufacturers came up wth the idea of a full-Chromoly fork into their BMX banger, this gave birth to a bike no one has ever seen. The Chromoly not only offered strength and durability but creating a fork of this calibre in one single unit is a genius!

However, Mongoose creators didn't stop there! They are always one step ahead of their loyal consumers. To allow for higher jumps and safe landings, the Mongoose Thrive comes with big handle bars and Odyssey pedals so one can fully enjoy quality performance and comfort in riding. The special "street" version also has grinding pefs and gyro brake setup.

In addition, the Rush levers, the Tektro stock alloy brakes were specifically chosen for those tough riding moves. This bike company has truly invested time and effort to provide that "special something" so riders can enjoy that biking experience. This is one incredible machine!

Heavy Performance but Not Heavy on the Wallet

Yes, the bike will certainly hit your wallet but if you consider the $370 to $400 price tag, it might not be too bad. The price is, still, $50 to $80 less than what the average BMX 20-inch bike costs and that is just the "average" we are speaking of. Nothing about the Mongoose Thrive is average by any means - especially not build quality or performance capability.

Not only do you get a supreme bike with world class parts and a wonderful ride, you get it for a price that would normally get you much less of a bike. Since it's already a good deal, finding it for cheaper will be a hard task, no one gives up this bike once they bought it since the bike is the bleed edge technology in the ever growing BMX world.
