Tobago Holidays You'll Always Remember

Do you want that great tourist dream of a holiday on an incredible island? Search no further than Tobago. The site of the oldest protected rainforest in the Western Hemisphere is waiting for you.

This small isle is a paradise for couples of aquatic adventures and rest. Most desired spots for Tobago holidays Pigeon Point for snorkeling and its wonderful water for a day trip on a glass-bottomed boat. Man-O-War Bay has a great, remote swimmer's beach with crystal blue water. Englishman's Bay is a much loved spot. Don't take only our word for it though. Tobago is famous by undersea traveler Jacques Cousteau for its gorgeous coral reefs. Many are placed near to Tobago's coast; making snorkeling a popular hobby and an incredible part of your Tobago holidays. One of the best locations to visit is the Buccoo Reef, a protected marine park. Many holiday tourists who arrive here do so only to snorkel here. A mask and two flippers are your ticket to one of the most amazing ecosystems you'll have the opportunity to explore.

David Attenborough's "Trials of Life" was partially filmed at the Little Tobago Seabird Sanctuary. This sanctuary has been a must-see destination for decades in what is truly a nature lover's paradise. In fact, Tobago holidays offer the amateur and serious bird watcher an incredible 210 species of birds unique to the Tobago area. Three types of marine turtles call Tobago their home as well and there are areas all around the island where you can engage in whale watching.

Besides the sanctuary, dry land on Tobago offers a number of ancient forts for the whole family to explore as well as numerous nature reserves to hike through. You can also take in Tobago culture in the galleries and art museums, or absorb the local flavor in one of the traditional styled villages; Scarborough, Charlotteville and Castara are among the more popular locations. You will also find amazing golf courses at the Mount Irving Bay and Tobago Plantations.
