Naples is known as The Paradise Coast because of the splendid climate and the endless list of fun and interesting things to do like Great Golf. Naples, Florida has more golf courses per capita than any other area in the world. There are more than 80 championship golf courses in the Naples area. That's one reason Naples is known as the "Golf Capital of the World." With so many wonderful and challenging courses in the area, it may take time to choose your favorite. Many of the courses are uniquely surrounded by wildlife, where eagles, osprey, alligators, and other wildlife are often spotted on or near the courses. Just keep your eyes open when chipping out of sand traps, soaring over water hazards, and navigating fast and rolling greens. Just driving the fairway may give you a chance encounter with some natural wildlife.
