Discovering Airstream RV Life Inspiration Travel

By Amy Foster

The world is slowly learning that materialism can hold people back and actually prevent individuals from traveling and seeing different parts of the world. As such, the new trend of tiny living has taken over a number cities, towns, neighborhoods and now the roadway. In fact, having an airstream RV life inspiration travel plan can be an excellent way to discover this type of living, whether located on a property or traveling cross-country.

When looking at different options, it is important that individuals envision the space filled with everything the individual plans on keeping. For, while tiny homes are a cool idea, most have very little square feet and are arranged as a long stay hotel room. As such, individuals with a lot of possessions of which the individual can not part may want to consider renting a larger apartment or home rental rather than moving into an RV or tiny house.

One couple whom paid in advance for an airstream up front, then picked up the airstream was luckier than most when it comes to such transactions. For, there are a number of such listings which are being provided by someone other than the owner. In this case, the deal was a success for the listing was posted by a dealership.

Upon acquiring the airstream, the couple then realized there were a number of unanswered questions. Fortunately, a relative whom was RV knowledgeable was able to help answer the questions and hitch the trailer to the pickup. Although, it still took lessons and hours of practice in order to learn how to successfully hitch the trailer.

While the husband had been looking forward to the journey for quite some time, the wife seemed somewhat hesitant. The reason was not of being afraid of driving the trailer or setting it up for the move or at RV parks, it was just a huge transition after having lived in a stationary home for so long. Whereas, the overall RVing experience was still something that was yet to be discovered in the future.

During the drive, according to the wife, husband Steve drove very well, especially with regards to taking wide turns, signaling like a truck driver and took it slow and easy. Next came practice, practice in reversing the trailer in the parking area of an abandoned outlet mall. The couple exited the pick-up and after angling in out of several parking spaces, the couple mastered the process.

The couple had a small incident of flying bales of hay on the highway though most debris fell into other lanes. Later, the husband maneuvered the RV onto a cul-de-sac in front of what was house of sticks and bricks that afternoon. While Steve's day was done, the wife's was just beginning as it was now time to move belongings into the RV.

After having downsized for months, there was more each one had to let go of before moving into the RV. During the process, it was difficult to figure out what to keep and what to let go of while also requiring a great deal of compromise. For, anytime an individual or couple downsizes from a large home to a tiny one, it is often hard to let go of things, especially ones with monetary or sentimental value.
