How Can You Crack IAS Paper?

Every kid in the twenty first century is as competitive as their counterparts as compared to the twentieth century. Kids nowadays are very well acknowledging with the surrounding and very alert with the happenings of the world. Parents are not needed to force their children to get more information about the current affairs, they itself are interested in collecting more information about it and have enough mediums to do it.

The major problem that almost every candidate has to go through is making the choice of optional subjects. People appearing for the IAS exam already know that the preliminary exam held in the 1st stage of IAS exam comprises of two objective papers, each of them carrying equal marks each, which is 200 marks each. So this has eliminated the thought process of which subject they must choose as an optional subject for the preliminary exams.

In the second phase of the process or the IAS exam, the candidate has to go through the Mains exam of the Civil Service Examinations. Here the Candidate has to appear for 5 papers for the mains exam which is the general studies, essay writing, English paper and one other language that it chooses from the 18 mentioned languages in the Indian Constitution.

Time duration for the exam is about 2 hours and the candidate has to answer questions about six topics which are Indian History, Constitution of India, Economics, Science, Current Affairs and Geography. The second paper is optional and consists of paper including the political science, Economics, Psychology and Physics, etc. This exam consists of maximum 300 marks with 120 questions to answer for which the time duration is about 2 hours.

Schools and colleges are found to have general knowledge quiz contest every now and then so that the children bring their focus on matters that they haven't discusses or never heard of. There are several business companies, providing you with sponsors regarding the quiz contests, which are held across the globe. This definitely helps the student to look for books or information other than their regular syllabus.

Candidate must look to select the subject with which it is comfortable. Just looking at the concept of answers and length of the subject shouldn't be the only matter of concern but they must also follow they must also take care of the comfort with the subject. You must also look for the IAS study material in case you want to prepare yourself according to the IAS pattern.

It is said that a child's brain is just like a pit, it can be filled with all the information that you can. They can catch up all the information they read and still have enough space for more, which is an amazing thing. All you need to do is get your child interested in a particular subject and it can read more and more about it. If it is the general knowledge, they can start learning about all the current affairs and things that they have to know about in general. It can be very helpful for the child's future.

Candidates must choose the subject with which there are comfortable with and they can easily understand it. Also you must be careful while choosing the optional subjects too. It is going to decide the candidate's selection in the IAS examination.
