Why Tours Of Miami Florida Are So Popular

By Maryanne Goff

Tours of Miami Florida have been created especially to show people exactly what the city has to offer. All this can be done without leaving the comfort of your seat on the open top buses that cruise the area. They usually allow you to disembark at any point in the journey and hop aboard again at your leisure. That's great if you find places that intrigue you enough to want to see more of.

The list of landmarks in the city is fairly extensive, so much so that if you walked the city you probably would not take in all the sights. A bus tour packs all you need to see in just a single journey. Whether you're a fan of architecture or culture, you'll probably find places like Vizcaya Museum, Little Havana and South Beach to your taste.

Those who love to go to the beach might choose what's called a Beach Loop tour. As the name implies, it shows you many of the beaches in the area. The journey usually starts at Central Station and takes in Miami Beach. The blue skylines often seem endless on this tour and the spectacular views and palm trees have been enjoyed by countless people.

The area is divided in districts, each with something to offer the visitor. Rather than walk, you may wish to experience Coconut Grove from the comfort of the bus. Millionaire's Row is usually on the list o stops along the way, and who knows, you may spot a famous person there.

If you choose one of the better tour buses then you'll most likely get expert commentary piped through either headphones or speakers situated around the bus. It is probably also going to be available in more languages than just English and Spanish. Some buses have recorded commentary and others have actual live commentary.

A lot of the commentary is from people that are either native to Miami or have lived there for a while. They can provide extensive commentary on the area and, if asked, will give you suggestions about where you can go if you're after a fun time at night. Each will have their own perspective on the area, and this is what can make each bus journey unique.

Because there are so many locations at which you can hop on and hop off throughout the journey, you can see most of the city during a visit. And because the guides know the area, they'll be able to recommend places to eat and drink. Best of all, the ability to get off where you like means you'll be able to plan your journey and be flexible. Each ticket is valid for a set period of time.

Tours of Miami Florida are lauded for their flexibility. There are so many sights to see that it might well be difficult to do so on foot. Passes can usually be bought for 24 or 48 hours, meaning you can get on an off the bus knowing you have plenty of time to see the culture and nightlife Miami has to offer.
