Where Else A Free Tour Must Be

By Vicki Diaz

Geographically speaking, a third of the world is compact with lush vegetation and man-made structure inundation. There are seven continents and approximately 196 independent countries with others left undiscovered. All of these have great things to offer. Things that can surely illuminate the real meaning of one's existence when explored. Journeying the wonders of nature is like getting into an introspective journey to oneself. But before getting out of the borders of South Florida, one should uncover the staggering sights of this beautiful land through a free tour of Miami.

Known for its turquoise waters and sandy shores, Miami is simply the tropical paradise every budget-minded individual is searching for. Laid-back backpackers who do not want to spend too much money and energy globe-trotting can definitely find attractions and activities without spending a dollar.

When tanning needs a handsome sum of money, basking under the radiantly sun-drenched shores in Miami necessitates not a dime. Some people say things on earth are never for free. Well, this place is just the answer. Miami beaches are open for everyone. Women interested in getting suntan skin only have to gather some friends around to make the free tanning session perfectly entertaining.

As darkness begins to devour the shore, live music kindles the dormant evening scene with the disco lights starting to groove all the way down to the daylight. Bars give lofty drink prizes to guests who arrive an hour before midnight. It is simply necessary for someone has to be at a mature age before he can enter and enjoy the live music performances.

For people who love staring the frescoes trying to the decipher what incites painters to come up with such creation may as well walk through Little Havana on the last Friday of each day. Calle Ocho of Little Havana becomes an open-air art gallery where a hundred artists, sculptors as well as musicians gather. The sidewalks during this day will not only showcase different art creations but filled with live concerts as well.

But if Friday is never enough, one may check out some contemporary art collections at Miami Art Museum. Free admission is on every second Saturday. This is never a whole activity unlike the one on Called Ocho, though. Interested individuals should come in from the first to the fourth hour in the afternoon.

Roaming around Centre Gallery does not also require a nickel. Exhibition of contemporary art is organized every day. And though it is located within campus, people from different walks of life can always come there to view different modern artwork and architecture.

Those who interested in knowing the city's historic grounds can take a tour each Sunday afternoon with no money involved. There are entertaining storytellers regaling audiences with their tales about the glory days years of Biltmore Hotel. People can take self-guided walking tours from the area where historic art deco architectures can be found down to South Beach.

Getting lost in the city is definitely exciting. With the free tour of Miami that offers not just fun and excitement, the entire escapade can be a breeding ground of a wonderful lore and experience as well.
