What are Mini Street Bikes? These are bikes that are targeted to be used by those who are too small or too young to hold the handles of a normal motorbike. Aside from that, mini street bikes are also more affordable than the normal motorbike. Most mini street bikes are the exact replica of the racing motorcycles in terms of proportion and detail as well as craftsmanship. Therefore, it is safe to say that a mini street bike also comes with all the gears that a full-scale motorcycle has including the racing tires, lightweight alloy frame, twist grip, acceleration control and disc brakes.

Because mini street bikes are considered as pocket versions of motorcycles, they can also be used for racing but they do have specially designed tracks. Also these kinds of bikes can run in either gas or electric power so mini street bikes have the option on what version they would like to purchase and use. Mini street bikes that are gasoline powered can reach up to a speed of 35mph and even 50mph if it is an open class machine. Aside from that, gasoline powered mini street bikes are equipped with a two stroke internal combustion engine. On the other hand, electric mini street bikes utilized rechargeable batteries as source of power.

Known as one of the most popular sports in countries including Australia, Europe and Japan, mini street bike racing is said to be developed and started in Australian. A mini street bike size is about one-fourth of a normal motorcycle. These street bikes are also known as "minimoto" and there are other claims that is originated and started in Italy.

Here are some safety measures tip that mini street bike riders should know:

-Make sure that when you are riding your bike, you are equipped with proper riding gears including elbow pads, helmets, kneepads, shoes and gloves in order to prevent untoward accidents or injuries.

-Aside from the safety of the driver or the rider of the mini street bike, the safety of other people including pedestrians and audience of the race is also important.

-Follow necessary rules and avoid driving when you are not in the proper condition to do so like when you are drunk or you are experiencing any sickness that may hinder your capacity to drive properly.

-Be sure to store your mini street bike in a safe place and it should not be used by kids without proper supervision and guidance.

-Regular check up and maintenance of your mini street bike should be done in a regular basis to ensure that damages will be repaired and replaced if needed. A mechanic should be the one to do maintenance and checkup of mini street bike.

-To avoid accumulation of dirt and grease your dirt bike should also be cleaned regularly to avoid accumulation of grease and dirt that can potentially damage your mini street bike.
