This will save your yard from more damages.

The tunnels may be so extensive that they damage the landscape features of gardens and lawns. In addition, as they burrow, moles expose tree roots leaving them to wither and dry. When roots are exposed and not covered with soil, they cannot absorb the nutrients they need to flourish. Eventually, you will have the plants and flowers withering and drying.

A slight touch when you have set the trapping device can trigger the springing thus capturing your hand or feet. When you place them, you should ensure that children do not get to the areas where they are been grounded. To make sure that you are safely using these devices, you should position them in the right location, which is free from access by pets and children.

Studying the behaviour and movement of moles in gardens can provide you with exact locations, which they have invaded. Since they tend to dig tunnels all over the gardens, at times, you may not know where exactly they are located. This will require you to spend sometime watching their movements.

If not, you may mount a camera on the ground and monitor the movements of moles in gardens and lawns. This will enable you know the tunnels that are using so that you can be able to set the trapping devices on those locations. When handling the trapping tools, you have to ensure you take precautionary measures. If you activate them accidentally, they could injure your hands or feet.

In addition, when you place them on ground, you should bar children and pets from accessing the area. Activation may pets or children could still cause injuries. Often, a single mole can destroy an entire lawn. But, when you see the tunnels, chances are that you are dealing with several of them. It is not easy to see the damage they have caused on gardens, until you step into a sinkhole that they have created by digging tunnels.

When they dig up the soils, they leave the roots of plants and flowers uncovered with soil. This implies that your plants will not get the nutrients they need. This will eventually lead to withering of those plants. If you wait for long before you remove moles, they will have caused extensive damage by the time you trap them. By using the right trapping gadgets, you can capture them and remove the critters from your beautiful gardens.
